Close slats and dust each one individually with a microfibre cloth|For timber slats, use a wood-safe furniture polish sparingly|Aluminium slats can be wiped with a damp cloth and mild soap|Avoid excess water on timber venetians to prevent warping|Check cord tension periodically and adjust if slats hang unevenly|Keep slats tilted open when not in use to reduce dust buildup
